Turn archive scans into a file people can open
TIFF is common in scanners, document archives and older publishing systems. It preserves image detail well, but it is awkward when a recipient expects a single document. This converter reads each TIFF page and places it on a standard PDF page. Add one large scan, a multi-page fax, or a group of separate TIF files; they all end up in the same download.
File order matters. Put the cover first and the supporting pages after it before pressing the button. Portrait and landscape scans are handled separately, so a wide drawing is not squeezed onto an upright sheet. For the reverse job, use PDF to TIFF. If the material is plain notes rather than scanned pages, TXT to PDF will produce a cleaner result.
How to make a PDF from TIFF files

- Pick A4 or US Letter, then start the conversion.
- Download the PDF after every readable TIFF page has been added.
A note about quality and page size
The scan is fitted to the selected paper size without trimming its edges. A4 is the usual choice outside North America; US Letter is useful for office documents created there. The image proportions stay intact. Very large archival scans may take longer because your device has to decode the full page in memory.
Common questions
Does this work with multi-page TIFF files?
Yes. The converter reads every image stored in a multi-page TIFF. If you add several TIFF files, their pages are appended in the file order shown above the button.
Will a landscape scan be cut off?
No. A wide scan is placed on a landscape page and scaled to fit inside a small margin. The image is not cropped.
Why can a TIFF PDF still be large?
TIFF scans often contain many high-resolution pixels. PDF changes the container, but it cannot make detailed scans tiny without discarding some of that detail. Lowering the scan resolution before conversion is the most effective fix.
Is the TIFF sent to a server?
It stays in the browser. Decoding the scan and assembling the PDF both happen on your device, and the result is offered directly as a download.
